Welcome to my version of tool heaven.

This site is dedicated to the Miller's Patent Plow Plane, considered by many Tool Collector's to be the most ornate and beautiful hand tool ever made during the industrial revolution. This series of planes produced by the Stanley Rule & Level company embody every ideal that one could build into a tool. The flowing lines, cast decoration, exotic hard wood, and contrasting metals make these planes beautiful to behold and yet mask what underneath is a very simple design. In this sense form and function go hand in hand to create a tool that performs well and yet looses nothing to grace and beauty. Information on this site will be continually updated, better images and closeup details will follow as time permits so stop back regularly. I am always looking to expand the scope of information presented here and invite anyone with knowledge or images to share to contact me, all information will be greatly appreciated and made available for others.
